The Moto Club Faro honor, privilege and pride to present for its 30th International Motor Concentration, Faro - 2011, a concert of one of the greatest rock band of all time , IRON MAIDEN! Concentration takes place between 14/07/2011 and 17/07/2011.
This concert of IRON MAIDEN in Faro, 2011, is part of the tour, "The Final Frontier World Tour." This stage began in early February 2011 when the group flew aboard his specially customized Boeing 757 "Ed Force One" for a show at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow. The plane piloted by vocalist Bruce Dickinson, a commercial pilot, once again carry the group and his team with 10 tons of stage equipment for a round the globe 50,000 miles in 66 days.
The tour will stop in Europe, with some shows and other live entertainment, in stadiums, arenas and festivals, before ending in London in early August.
At this stage of the tour IRON MAIDEN has given since the beginning, "The Final Frontier World Tour" in June 2010 and to over 2 million fans, 101 concerts in over 40 countries.
The concert by the group in the 30th International Motor Concentration of MC in Faro, marks the return of IRON MAIDEN in the Algarve after an absence of nearly 20 years, the group's last appearance was during the tour "Real Live Tour "in March 1993.
In addition to songs from his latest album "The Final Frontier", the group will perform many of its older titles and pieces of fan favorites. All with a spectacular show on stage, including of course Eddie!
The presence of IRON MAIDEN in Faro honors the great friendship between the group several years, the Moto Club Faro and the late Manuel da Silva. Manu was a personal friend of Steve Harris (founder member and bassist of Iron Maiden) and bar manager and official theme of IRON MAIDEN "Eddie's Bar, located in Santa Bárbara de Nexe - Faro.
Steve said "For several years we are trying to integrate this exceptional event in our calendar and it is a fantastic opportunity can do today.
I have known and have remained a personal friend of MC Faro long ago, through mutual friend and manager of "Eddie's Bar" Manuel da Silva, who died tragically 5 years ago.
