France has the chance to have its territory, both races have allowed the motorcycle endurance to achieve its current international reputation: the 24 Hours and Moto Bol d'Or.
In chronological terms, from 2011, it will first think Bol d'Or 24 Hours Moto then, after the Chairs of the respective organizing committees have agreed to exchange their traditional month of enrollment in calendar: April and September. Why this reversal
?
Because the brake on the progress that may constitute intervallestrop close between two events, like the 24 Hours Moto and Moto Grand Prix of France separated by one month in the Sarthe, and the Bol d'Or and World Superbike enrolled in one month apart in the Nièvre.
Challenging principles of establishment of the sport agenda was needed afind'espacer dates of major events from each other, taking into account the imperatives of national and international schedules.
For COA, the resolution of this problem was through a logic of dialogue, expanding reflection with the French Motorcycle Federation, the International Motorcycling Federation and Editions Larivière, responsible for promoting and organizing the plusancienne motorcycle endurance race of the World: the Bol d'Or.
The willingness of both Presidents of the French leg of the Championship, Patrick Casasnovas for the Bol d'Or and Jean-Claude Plassart for the 24 Heures Moto, but also the support of Jacques Bolle for FFM and Jean-Pierre Mougin for the FIM, has led to the signing of an agreement to reverse the traditional dates of registration of two races.
The permutation is confirmed: from 2011, the Bol d'Or will be a spring event in April at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, while the 24 Heures Moto register commefestival the end of summer in September on the Circuit Bugatti!
